What you will practice

Bring a real review. Leave with a conversation plan.

Feedback + Confront concentrates on clarity and courage. Delegate + Resilience will build on growth and follow-through in a separate session.

Clarity

A review plan grounded in expectations, observed examples, contribution and impact while making room for the employee's perspective.

Courage

A practiced approach to the performance issue that needs to be addressed, including how to respond when perspectives differ.

Growth

A meaningful development assignment with clearer ownership, decision authority, support and a defined check-in.

Follow-through

Named commitments, progress measures and a next conversation date so the review becomes a starting point rather than an annual event.

Built from established Fierce capabilities

Practice the conversations managers actually need to have.

Each two-hour lab pairs two established Fierce capabilities, with practice around an upcoming review. Feedback + Confront is the October 22 pilot; Delegate + Resilience follows on a later date.

Fierce Feedback®

Prepare specific, useful feedback that helps people understand contribution, expectations and impact.

Fierce Delegate®

Turn development goals into real opportunities with clearer authority, support and accountability.

Fierce Confront®

Address recurring gaps directly while listening for different perspectives and moving toward agreement.

Fierce Resilience®

Help managers notice pressure, stay constructive and remain present when the conversation becomes difficult.

Why this matters

Employees notice when review conversations lack clarity and trust.

Gallup reported in 2024 that only 22% of surveyed U.S. employees strongly agreed that their performance review process was fair and transparent. Better conversations cannot fix an entire performance-management system, but they can help managers explain evidence, clarify expectations, invite perspective and create stronger follow-through.

What time is the October 22 session?

The date is planned for October 22. We will confirm the exact time and time zone before completing registration or collecting payment.

Can my organization enroll a larger group?

Yes. Talk to Fierce about a custom cohort and separate pricing.
