Does your workplace feel toxic and you’re not quite sure why? Oftentimes, the problems that arise from team communications actually stem from unconscious biases lingering beneath the surface. Unconscious biases can lead to microaggressions. Microaggressions happen all the time and are often unconscious or unintentional comments or actions that subtly and are usually related to issues such as age, race, gender, or sexual orientation. The results can create an unwelcome or hostile environment in your interactions and/or workplace culture.
Our course, “End Microaggressions,” teaches individuals and teams how to recognize, act, and respond to unconscious biases and create psychological safe zones for everyone. Collaborating with Kaplan Mobray, a renowned author, career coach, and former U.S. Diversity Programs leader at Deloitte, you will have the opportunity to experience a number of simulations that tackle microaggressions in the workplace.
